A hostage scenario is one of the most difficult scenarios that a tactical team can face. While the best-case scenario for all involved is the surrender of a suspect, incidents have shown this is frequently not the resolution, and innocent people have lost their lives. It is imperative that tactical teams have a protocol and training program in place to deal with these situations.

This course is designed for tactical team members and managers.

This course is designed for tactical team members and managers and will discuss tactical options in dealing with the unique and difficult problems encountered during hostage situations. The course will be a combination of classroom discussion and practical exercise.
